Entry Staff Accountant
Location: Gardena/Torrance, CA
Schedule: On-site Monday – Thursdays and Fridays WFH 
Pay Rate: $28.00.00 per hour and up 
Employment Type: Temp to Hire

Position Overview:
This role is perfect for someone with solid accounting experience who wants to contribute to a dynamic team. You’ll be responsible for handling month-end close activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, and supporting audit preparation. This position offers a hybrid work schedule to help balance productivity and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily sales reports and weekly cash projection reports

• Manage month-end journal entries and prepare supporting worksheets

• Compile monthly financial packages with variance analysis

• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations

• Review and file sales tax returns

• Renew business and operating licenses on schedule

• Process customer refunds via ERP system

• Assist with year-end audit preparation

• Support special projects and financial research

• Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications:

Strong Understanding of Debits and Credits. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 1 year of corporate accounting and general ledger experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience with ERP systems
