Sr. Accountant

2+ years of public accounting required and CPA is highly desired
Must have Advanced Excel and strong GAAP background
Key Duties for the Senior Accountant:
- Responsible for the monthly close process, including the monthly journal entries
- Responsible for the balance sheet reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepaids, accruals, and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
- Maintain the fixed assets registers (additions, disposals and calculate depreciations) and capital expenditures
- Assist with the monthly financial reporting, prepare schedules and work closely with the auditors
- Assist with the management of the audit engagements
- Ensure internal controls are being maintained and monitored
Key Requirements for the Senior Accountant:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 2+ year of public accounting experience required
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong US GAAP
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player and eagerness to learn
