Position Tittle: Saw Operator
Working Hours: 6 AM to 2:30 PM (OT as Needed)
Working Days: Monday – Friday (Saturday's as Needed)
Pay Rate: $20/Hr. to $21/Hr. (DOE)
Job Description:
Must be able to read blueprints, drawings, charts. Sets up, operates and maintains a variety of saws. Verifies dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications. Able to read a tape measure
Set up and operate manual, automatic, or CNC saws (e.g., band saws, chop saws, panel saws) according to job specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine material requirements and cutting instructions.
Measure and mark cutting lines on material using measuring tools, templates, or patterns.
Inspect materials before and after cutting to ensure quality and accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance on saws and related equipment, including blade changes and lubrication.
Monitor machine operation to detect problems or malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
