Established supplier located in North Orange County is adding to their team, and is hiring an experienced Packaging Sales Representative for the LA territory. This is a full time permanent position offering great compensation and benefits package as well as a great company culture.
MAIN FOCUS:
Maintaining existing customer relationships
Growing the territory through and adding new customers
Keeping up to date knowledge on product offerings in the marketplace
Delivering creative custom solutions to meet the customer’s specific needs
Lead generation and follow up on potential business
Updating customer records for efficient reporting and keeping detailed notes
REQUIREMENTS:
Consultative sales experience is a must.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience in sales and marketing.
Packaging industry experience is a plus.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation is required for customer visits.
Must be willing and able to travel to the assigned territory 4-5 days per week.
