Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Sr.
Shift Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (plus OT)
Location: South Bay
Pay: Up to $30.00 (depending on experience) / Job Class: Temp-to-Hire
Description: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, pneumatic tools, production machines, building/facility, as well as preventative maintenance and emergency response by performing the following duties
- Make replacements, adjustments, inspections, trouble shoot, and preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment
- General mechanical maintenance, on various mechanical equipment such as, cranes, hoist, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, and basic vehicle repairs
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections
- 10 years’ experience in machine tool field
- Must demonstrate common sense and possess mechanical aptitude and abilities Experience/Training/Education/Certification in hydraulics, ability to read schematics, hydraulic and electrical
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Pass background and drug screen
