HR GENERALIST NEEDED IN SANTA ANA!!

Location:
Santa Ana, CA
Shift: M-F 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay: $30 – $36 (DOE)

Summary:
The HR Generalist, in collaboration with the HR department, will support the organization’s daily Human Resources functions with an emphasis on benefits administration. This includes coordinating and administering all aspects of employee leave of absences, managing enrollment, renewal, and distribution processes for employee benefits, and providing excellent customer service for HR-related inquiries and concerns.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage the administration of group benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, etc.)

  • Provide customer service, research, and problem resolution for benefit claims

  • Set up and maintain benefits plans in UltiPro (HRIS system) in collaboration with brokers and vendors’ technical teams

  • Serve as systems administrator for benefits functionality and data in UltiPro

  • Ensure accurate data entry for benefits-related events

  • Coordinate daily benefits processing including enrollments, COBRA, terminations, qualifying life events, and beneficiaries

  • Assist in coordinating open enrollment for multiple sites, including communication plans and enrollment support

  • Deliver new hire benefit orientations

  • Manage leave of absence programs to comply with federal and local ordinances (FMLA, PFL, SDI, etc.), including ADA and the interactive process

  • Provide guidance and support for employees on leave of absence options

  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations

  • Monitor benefit database integrity, ensure invoice accuracy, reconcile account discrepancies, and submit timely payment requests

  • Oversee maintenance of employee records

  • Support new hire onboarding

  • Respond to managers and supervisors on HR-related questions, provide information on regulations and policies, and offer general support

  • Prepare reports from UltiPro as requested

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Work mandatory overtime as needed

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the Human Resources field

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification highly desirable

  • Experience with HRIS systems (preferably UltiPro)

  • Working knowledge of common HR concepts and labor la
