Help Desk Intern – Temporary (Onsite)

Location: Placentia, CA.

Pay: $20/hour

Duration: 4+ months

We are looking for a motivated Help Desk Intern for a temporary onsite role with our client. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Computer Science to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide setup, installation, maintenance, and support for company voice and data devices
• Assist with programming and maintenance of telephone systems
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery of hardware and software for users
• Troubleshoot basic TCP/IP and connectivity issues
• Support end users with printers, fax machines, and other office equipment
• Update department documentation and maintain internal databases

What We’re Looking For:

• Degree in Computer Science (or currently enrolled in a related program)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as printers and fax machines
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, organized, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment
