Role Overview: Provides hands-on support for building maintenance and general upkeep of facility
- Responsibilities include:
- Performing routine building maintenance: non-technical repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
- Handling break/fix tasks: painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling tiles, assembling furniture or kitchen equipment, installing or repairing carpeting and other fixtures.
- Managing various contractors onsite and coordinating with vendors, engineers, and supervisors.
- Supporting general operational needs like moving furniture and equipment, disposing of waste, and assisting in event setups and tear-downs.
- Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 2 years of facility or maintenance experience.
- Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in aerospace facility environments, construction, equipment maintenance, engineering basics, and use of heavy equipment like forklifts or lifts.
