Job Title: AR / Collections Specialist
Location: Torrance, CA – On-site
Annual Revenue: $200M – $400M


Position Overview:

We have partnered with a stable manufacturing company and they are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AR / Collections Specialist to join our Accounting team at our Torrance, CA headquarters. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for full-cycle accounts receivable management for a high-volume portfolio of over 500 accounts, including both mom-and-pop shops and major big box retailers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable for a large portfolio of customers

  • Post payments and apply cash accurately

  • Release orders and ensure timely order processing

  • Proactively follow up on past due accounts and manage collections

  • Investigate and resolve billing disputes and customer shortages

  • Monitor and respond promptly to inquiries in the AR inbox

  • Maintain accurate records and customer account reconciliations

  • Organize and prioritize workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment


Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of AR / Collections experience, including work with big box customers

  • Proven ability to handle a high-volume portfolio (500+ accounts)

  • Strong Excel skills with ability to manipulate manual spreadsheets (e.g., filters, formulas)

    • Nice to have: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables

  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and customer service abilities

  • High attention to detail and accuracy


Schedule & Work Environment:

  • On-site position, 5 days/week in Torrance, CA

  • Standard hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

    • Option to start as early as 6:00 AM if preferred
