Working Days & Hours: Monday – Friday, 1std shift  OT & Saturday's as Needed) 



Job Details
  • Coordinate, schedule, and perform equipment calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance activities across all departments.
  • Ensure all calibration procedures align with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and internal quality system requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of calibration certificates, preventive maintenance logs, and equipment status records.
  • Manage relationships with external calibration vendors; coordinate off-site/onsite calibrations and review certificates for compliance.
  • Track equipment due dates using internal systems (e.g., calibration management software or spreadsheets) and notify relevant stakeholders of upcoming requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing calibration and maintenance records as needed.
  • Identify and escalate equipment that is out of tolerance or requires repair; work closely with engineering, production, RMA, and quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the development or improvement of calibration procedures and PM schedules for new or legacy equipment.
  • Conduct light troubleshooting and basic repair of equipment when necessary. Coordinate repair of equipment with supplies.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in equipment calibration and/or preventive maintenance in a regulated manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 calibration requirements.
  • Familiarity with equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, environmental chambers, pressure gauges, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); experience with calibration tracking software a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, calibration certificates, and schematics.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working across departments and with vendors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in electronics, metrology, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to defense contract requirements.
