Job Overview:
Responsible for welding and fabricating metal components according to specifications.
Duties:
- Perform Tig welding on various metal components, preferably with a background in sanitary welding
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble and fabricate metal structures
- Operate plasma cutting equipment for metal preparation
- Conduct pipe threading and stick welding as needed
- Inspect welded joints for quality and make necessary repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Proficiency in Tig welding techniques, preferably sanitary welding
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Experience with sheet metal fabrication
- Knowledge of plasma cutting techniques
- Strong ability to assemble and build metal structures
- Familiarity with pipe threading processes
- Competence in stick welding
