We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire position with our client located near the Irvine Spectrum. 

They are a well-established and stable manufacturing company and the position will be working 100% onsite. 

Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant:

• Responsible for supporting the monthly close process
• Prepare the monthly journal entries
• Prepare the income and balance sheets and assist with the monthly financial reporting
• Monthly sales and use taxes 
• Assist with the annual budgets and handle the forecast/variance analysis

Requirements for the Staff Accountant:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience with sales/uses taxes is a plus 
• Experience with SAP or any large ERP system
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookup/pivot tables/sumif/formulas)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
