Sr. Estimator – Landscape Construction
Orange, CA |  Full-Time | Onsite

We’re seeking a Senior Estimator with proven experience in landscape construction to lead our Estimating Department. This is a key leadership role responsible for supervising Jr. Estimators, managing complex bids, and driving profitability through accurate, strategic cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all job estimates for construction, hardscape, and landscaping projects

• Supervise and train Jr. Estimators

• Coordinate bid schedules and review cost proposals

• Analyze blueprints and specs to determine labor, material, and equipment needs

• Ensure production rates are accurate and competitive

• Use MEP software for takeoffs and estimates

• Track cost trends and recommend process improvements

• Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and completeness in all client communications

Requirements:

• 5+ years of estimating experience in landscape construction or similar (concrete, grading, asphalt, utilities)

• Experience with Public Works projects (such as CalTrans)

• Must have experience supervising a team

• Strong math, organizational, and software skills (Microsoft Office, MEP)

• Valid CA Class C driver’s license with a clean record

• Ability to manage multiple $1M+ bids/projects simultaneously

Preferred:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish or Vietnamese

• Associate degree in Construction or related field
