Senior Accountant – Temp to Hire
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite)
Pay: $90,000 – $100,000

A well-established company in Santa Ana is seeking a Senior Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This onsite role requires strong financial reporting, reconciliations, and Excel skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month/quarter/year-end journal entries and allocations

• Maintain fixed asset roll forwards and prepaid amortization schedules

• Perform detailed GL and financial data analysis

• Reconcile monthly bank and balance sheet accounts

• Conduct income statement variance analysis

• Review AP/AR aging reports to support cash flow

• Understand and adjust AP/AR transactions as needed

• Work with project accounting, contracts, job costing, and progress billing

• Handle commissions calculations 

• Help prepare sales and use tax returns

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance 
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, HLOOKUP)

• Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations

• Attention to detail and analytical mindset

• Sage Intacct experience is a plus

• Project accounting or job costing experience preferred
