Shipping Clerk/Logistics Coordinator
Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator prepares documentation, maintains records, coordinates logistics for product shipments, and performs other duties that help streamline the daily business operations of an organization.
Shift – 7:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hr.
Location: Irvine, Ca.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Prepare documents, keep records, and coordinate product shipments
Schedule and manage domestic and international freight shipments
Choose freight carriers based on cost and delivery needs
Track shipments and provide updates to customers
Handle shipping paperwork and enter details into shipping systems
Manage inventory and coordinate freight logistics
Compare shipping rates to get the best prices for prepaid shipments
Help with logistics invoices and fix any billing issues
Stay up to date with import/export regulations
Use and update Harmonized Codes for international shipping
Create shipping and receiving reports for management
Prepare and ship product samples to customers
Assist with marketing tasks like trade shows and email campaigns
Take on other duties as needed
Qualifications:
§ Must have experience.
§ Bilingual in English and Korean is preferred but not required.
§ Team player with excellent time management and organization skills.
§ Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software and WMS. (Warehouse Management Systems)
§ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
§ Must be US Citizen or be able to work legally in the US.
Education and Previous Experience:
§ College degree in the related field is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
§ Experience in administrative and clerical procedures related to logistics is Must.
§ Import, export, and inventory management experience is Must.
§ QuickBooks experience is helpful but not required.
