Position Tittle: Sheet Metal Worker
Working Hours: 6 AM to 2:30 PM (OT as Needed)
Working Days: Monday – Friday (Saturday's as Needed)
Pay Rate: $21/Hr. to $23 /Hr DOE
Job duties:
- Read work plans and specifications to lay out, measure and mark the sheet metal
- Operate various types of equipment including hand and power tools and light metalworking machines to cut, bend, punch, shape or form the metal in other ways
- Fit, join and fasten the sheet metal parts to construct the final products or installation pieces
- Finish products and check that they meet quality, safety and other standards and specifications
- Repair and maintain sheet metal work
- Scan all job orders through the Made2Manage (M2M) system
Qualifications:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or a combination of one year sheet metal work experience in the trade and some college or industry courses preferred
- Must be able to read a tape measure
