Established manufacturing company located in Garden Grove, CA is growing and adding an experienced Research & Development Engineer to their team! In this full time, permanent role, your responsibilities will involve  developing, designing, and testing new materials.. This might include customer specific projects where testing  equipment is needed in house. Main focus will  be on Engineering Support, Product Development, Mechanical Design & Testing as well as Materials Research & Cataloguing.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science, Engineering or equivalent 
• 3-5+ years in mechanical/chemical engineering role
• Good computer skills (Office, Word, Excel, Access)
• SolidWorks
• Skilled in chemical Engineering Principles (especially polyurethane  properties) including production techniques and chemical understanding
•  Ability to read and understand blueprints/drawings
• Basic Economic principles
• Understanding of Sales and order entry process
• Good communication and customer/vendor interaction

SALARY RANGE:
$95-115k/yr. depending on experience + excellent benefits package
