Industry and what does the company do? It distributes beef, chicken, and pork products is seeking a QC Tech!

Job Title:  QC Tech (1st Shift)

Location:  Commerce, CA

Pay: $22.00 per hour / Job Class: Temp to Hire

Schedule: Sunday thru Thursday 2:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Flexible working weekends plus OT)

Requirements:

Monitors quality control of product and processing lines
Ability to use scales and handheld instruments
Participates in Food Safety systems, Pre-requisite Programs, and SSOP's
Works with USDA regulators daily
Participates in training employees in accordance with our training program on GMP's and HACCP
Complete QC tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

Experience in food industry
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to follow up on instructions
Must be able to work long hours (OT and Weekends)
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be able to work weekends (if necessary)
Bilingual (is a plus)
Ability to multi-task
Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment
Excellent verbal and written skills
