Job Title: QC Tech
Location: Commerce
Pay: $22.00 per hour / Job Class: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday thru Friday 2nd shift 2:00 am to 2:00 pm (Flexible working weekends plus OT)
Requirements:
- Monitors quality control of product and processing lines
- Ability to use scales and handheld instruments
- Participates in Food Safety systems, Pre-requisite Programs, and SSOP's
- Works with USDA regulators daily
- Participates in training employees in accordance with our training program on GMP's and HACCP
- Complete QC tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Experience in food industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to follow up on instructions
- Must be able to work long hours (OT and Weekends)
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be able to work weekends (if necessary)
- Bilingual (is a plus)
- Ability to multi-task
- Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
