About the Role:
We’re looking for a Production Planner in Riverside, CA with food or beverage manufacturing experience to manage customer orders, forecast demand, and create efficient production schedules. You'll work closely with supply chain, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an 8-week production schedule based on customer needs.
- Optimize production efficiency by minimizing changeovers.
- Coordinate ingredient and packaging procurement to avoid delays.
- Use ERP software to track inventory and production costs.
- Analyze production data, including yield loss and on-time delivery metrics.
- Conduct inventory checks and ensure material availability.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in production planning in food & beverage manufacturing industry
- Strong ERP software skills (NetSuite experience a plus).
- Ability to forecast demand and manage inventory effectively.
- Knowledge of batching, filling, and packaging processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
