Job Title: Payroll Coordinator (Temp to Hire / Direct Hire)
Location: Culver City, CA (On-Site)
Pay Rate: Up to $33.50 per hour
Experience: 4 to 8 years of payroll processing experience for up to 300ee’s. 
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Early Start Time (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM)

What You’ll Do:

  • Process Payroll Like a Pro: Manage weekly payroll for multiple states with attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
  • Be the Go-To Payroll Expert: Review, verify, and resolve payroll discrepancies, helping employees with any payroll-related questions.
  • Ensure Compliance: Keep payroll running smoothly by staying on top of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Assist in Reporting: Help prepare and file important payroll reports and documents.
  • Handle Sensitive Data: Maintain confidentiality and the security of all payroll-related information.
  • Tackle New Challenges: No two days are the same—perform other payroll-related tasks as needed and stay engaged.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience Matters: 4 to 8 years of payroll processing experience, especially in a multi-state environment.
  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: You pride yourself on your ability to handle numbers with precision and stay on top of deadlines.
  • Independent Worker: You can handle tasks with little supervision and know how to manage multiple priorities.
  • Tech-Savvy: You’re proficient with payroll software and Excel, and you’re comfortable in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
  • A Problem-Solver: When challenges arise, you take a proactive approach to find solutions.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You can clearly explain payroll details to employees and work well with other teams.

Education:

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bonus Points: Some college coursework in accounting, business, or related fields.
