We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic for our 3rd shift to maintain and troubleshoot production equipment. Your role is crucial in ensuring minimal disruptions to production and maintaining our high standards for food safety and quality.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic – 3rd Shift

Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Location: Santa Ana, Ca

Shift: Sun-Sat; 9:00pm – 5:30am

Job Overview  
You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production equipment, ensuring minimal disruptions to production.

Key Responsibilities  
– Assist production supervisors with equipment malfunctions (electrical or mechanical).
– Communicate equipment issues to prevent breakdowns or disruptions.
– Perform troubleshooting and repairs promptly.
– Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
– Complete assigned work orders and document work done.
– Maintain tools and work area in good condition.
– Follow food safety and quality regulations.

Requirements  
– 2-3 years of mechanical experience in a food manufacturing plant.
– Electrical experience preferred.
– Certifications: GMP/HACCP, forklift, boom/scissor lift.

Work Environment 
– Exposure to moving parts, wet or humid conditions, and extreme temperatures.
– Tolerance for flour dust.
– Moderate to loud noise levels.

Physical Demands
– Standing, walking, and using hands frequently.
– Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
– Strong communication and observational skills for safety purposes.
