Electrical Technical school or apprenticeship is required
California Electrician state certification preferred
Welding Experience
Skills/Knowledge:
Performing work requiring extensive knowledge of motor controls, trouble shooting, electrical schematics, blueprints, including electronic theory and principles
Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable logic controls, motor controls circuits, computer interfaces, frequency drives and national electrical code
Must be able to read a create electrical ladder schematics and troubleshoot industrial controls
Proficient at replacing and installing electrical components such as heaters, relays, switches, motors, circuit breakers, power wiring, conduit and sensors
Proficient at working with voltages including 480 VAC, 277 VA, 120 VAC volt controls and 24 VDC controls
