Maintenance Electrician

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- Electrical Technical school or apprenticeship is required
- California Electrician state certification preferred
- Welding Experience
Skills/Knowledge:
- Performing work requiring extensive knowledge of motor controls, trouble shooting, electrical schematics, blueprints, including electronic theory and principles
- Working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable logic controls, motor controls circuits, computer interfaces, frequency drives and national electrical code
- Must be able to read a create electrical ladder schematics and troubleshoot industrial controls
- Proficient at replacing and installing electrical components such as heaters, relays, switches, motors, circuit breakers, power wiring, conduit and sensors
- Proficient at working with voltages including 480 VAC, 277 VA, 120 VAC volt controls and 24 VDC controls
- Able to lift 55 lbs
