Job Title: Maintenance Attendant (1st Shift)

Pay Rate: $18 – $19 per hour (D.O.E)
 
Location: Santa Ana, Ca

Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (9 hours/day Mon-Thurs, 8 hours/day every other Friday)

Job Duties:
– Assist with facility maintenance by performing unskilled tasks.
– Operate a backhoe to clean wash racks, material bins, and refuse transfer station.
– Pump out wastewater from facility vaults and tanks.
– Maintain the transfer area to ensure compliance with county inspections.

Minimum Qualifications:
– Some job-related work experience in facility maintenance and/or janitorial services.
– Equivalent combination of training and experience.

Knowledge of:
– Basic facility maintenance procedures.
– Minor general repairs.
– Janitorial procedures and practices.
– Safe use of cleaning chemicals.

Ability to:
– Work in a public setting with people of all ages and backgrounds.
– Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
– Understand and communicate effectively in English.
– Read and follow instructions and safety protocols.
– Use a personal computer.

Requirements:
– Valid California Class “C” Driver’s License.
– Valid forklift operation certification.
