Growing manufacturing facility in Santa Ana has immediate opening for Machine Operators on 1st and 2nd Shifts in their brass tubling department. This is a full time, permanent position with a set work schedule, and great salary and benefits.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Responsible for loading metal parts into the barrel or drum.
Operate tumbling machines in the Metal Conditioning department.
Monitor the inventory and speed of machines during the process.
Monitor and maintain media levels and quality.
Operate multiple machines at the same time
Monitor and review information from materials, to watch for any issues.
Inspect equipment, or materials to identify the cause of errors or problems or defects
Perform routine cleaning of the equipment.
Report any issues that might arise from the components or machine processes.
Keep production data recorded daily as accurate as possible
Handling of waste and following correct disposal process for hazardous waste.
Follow all safety protocols and housekeeping protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
1 year experience as a machine operator
Must communicate and work together with others
Ability to follow work instructions and processes
Can learn new processes and follow standard operating procedures
Effective verbal communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Familiar with inspections of products, processes to evaluate quality
Ability to listen for sounds in a loud work environment.
