Legal Assistant
Location: Anaheim, CA
Pay Range: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour
Hours: 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday

As a Legal Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to a Corporate Attorney and legal department.  Responsibilities include:

Calendar Management:
  • Managing attorney’s schedule by scheduling meetings, appointments, sending reminders, and coordinating with company employees and third parties
File Management:
  • Maintaining organized electronic and physical files, retrieval, and updating of legal documents. 
Correspondence Handling:
  • Answering and directing phone calls, managing email communications, and preparing responses to routine inquiries from employees and third parties. 
Meeting Support:
  • Arranging meeting logistics. 
Billing and Expense Management:
  • Attending to the payment of third-party invoices, tracking payments, and maintaining records of such payments. 
Confidentiality:
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of all legal documents, information, and internal matters. 

Required skills and qualifications:
  • Proficient computer skills:  Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills: Efficiently managing multiple tasks, prioritizing workload, and meeting deadlines. 
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in correspondence. 
  • Excellent communication skills: Effectively communicating with third parties and other professionals, both verbally and in writing. 
  • Legal knowledge: Basic understanding of legal terminology especially patents and NDA’s
  • Professionalism: Maintaining a professional demeanor and appearance
