Environmental Compliance Manager
Apply NowAre you passionate about protecting water quality and ensuring environmental compliance? We’re a well established company in Phoenix, AZ looking for a proactive Environmental Compliance Manager to lead our water quality programs and ensure we stay ahead of environmental regulations.
What You’ll Do

Lead our Water Quality Monitoring Program, including sampling, testing, and compliance reporting.

Interpret federal and state environmental regulations (like the Safe Drinking Water Act and Clean Water Act) and turn them into actionable policies.

Collaborate with labs and field teams to ensure accurate, timely water testing.

Develop, update, and manage compliance documentation including Emergency Response Plans, Sampling Plans, and Public Notices.

Serve as the main liaison with regulatory bodies such as ADEQ and EPA.

Provide training and guidance to field teams and management.

Oversee our Backflow and Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) programs.

Stay on top of evolving regulations and ensure we adapt quickly and efficiently.
What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in water quality or environmental compliance.

Strong knowledge of environmental laws and water system operations.

Detail oriented mindset. Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience working with regulatory agencies and certified laboratories.
Bonus Points for:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Arizona-specific water quality regulations.
Salary Range:
$105,000-143,700/yr. DOE + great benefits package.
