Position: Design Engineer
Location: Fullerton, CA
Shift: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 p/h, DOE

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing the tools and documentation necessary to guide customer projects from initial concept through qualification and into full production. You'll create and manage artwork, circuit layouts, tooling, and design documentation while ensuring quality and accuracy. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret customer project requirements to develop artwork, tooling, and design documentation.
• Create and maintain design deliverables such as art proofs, films, laser-cutting files, and BOMs.
• Verify and update job information to ensure all systems reflect current versions.
• Provide support to production and customers by improving designs and troubleshooting issues.
• Participate in part inspections and qualifications, supporting QA tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of design engineering experience (electrical/electronics printing experience a plus).
• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, CAD tools (AutoCAD, DraftSight, SolidWorks), and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is a plus.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
