Customer Service Specialist
Location: Hayward, CA
Pay Range: $23.00 – $27.00 plus Quarterly Bonus
Hours: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Temp-to-Hire

You will serve as the first point of contact for customers and providing them with world-class service and support.  You will assist them with their event needs and offer product recommendations.  Your role is crucial in ensuring clients will have a memorable experience!

Responsibilities: 
  • Engage with customers by phone, email and in-person
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional services to enhance their events
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are correct and deadlines are met
  • Handle client inquiries and complaints with professionalism
  • Work closely with sales and operations team to ensure a smooth process
  • Maintain CRM records
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience in a Customer Service role, preferably in a special events/hospitality or related industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Friendly and personable demeanor
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively
  • Proficient with CRM and Excel is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly think on your feet
