Join Our Team as a Skilled Conventional Machinist!

We are looking for an experienced Conventional Machinist to join our team. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of conventional lathes, producing parts to exact specifications using precision tools. Your expertise in working with hard metals and knowledge of composite materials will help maintain the highest standards of quality and precision in our manufacturing process.

Job Titles: Conventional Machinist – 1st Shift

Pay: $25 – $30 per hour (D.O.E)

Schedule: Mon-Fri; 7:30am – 4:00pm

Location: Huntington Beach, Ca

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Conventional Machinist proficient in the setup, operation, and maintenance of conventional lathes. Responsibilities include machining parts to specifications, using precision tools, and ensuring conformance to standards. Experience with hard metals is required, and composite experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, adjust, and operate various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and precision instruments.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Study blueprints and engineering information to determine methods for fabricating products.
• Maintain and clean machines and tools.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in shop mathematics and precision measuring instruments.
• Must bring your own tools.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse/shop/manufacturing setting.
