Position Title: Clean Room & Hazardous Chemical Handler

Working Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (Plus Overtime, When Needed)

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Pay: $18-$22 Depending on Experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Contingent Worker to assist with light clean room tasks, including the handling and precise mixing of hazardous chemicals used in manufacturing underwater welding rods and specialized coatings. This position requires strict adherence to safety protocols and clean room procedures to ensure a controlled and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform light clean room duties, including sanitizing workstations and maintaining a sterile environment for chemical handling.
  • Handle, store, and mix hazardous chemicals in accordance with company and regulatory safety standards.
  • Prepare chemical mixtures following specific formulations for use in underwater welding rod manufacturing and coating applications.
  • Monitor and document chemical quantities, usage rates, and storage conditions to ensure proper stock and inventory levels.
  • Conduct visual inspections to identify and report any issues with chemical mixes, equipment, or clean room standards.
  • Maintain a detailed log of daily activities, including chemical handling, mixing, and clean room maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with manufacturing and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification or training in hazardous materials handling preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in a clean room environment and working with hazardous chemicals is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and precision in following instructions.
    • Knowledge of hazardous material handling, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
    • Ability to work effectively within a controlled, clean room environment.
    • Basic documentation and reporting skills.
