Our client is a growing design, development, and medical manufacturing company in Orange. They are seeking an eager and experienced Assembly Technician to add to their team on second shift.
Position: Assembly Technician Location: Orange, Ca Hours: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Pay rate: $19.00
Essential Functions:
Responsible for performing varied and general tasks involved in the manufacturing process. These tasks include connector assembly, termination of electrical contacts, operating a molding machine, labeling, packaging, in-process testing, operation of basic hand tools, and operation of assigned production/manufacturing.
Must be able to work in a bench-top assembly environment using a variety of manufacturing equipment to perform preparation, stripping, tinning, crimping, and soldering of medical cables.
Perform component encapsulation/epoxy operations, operate ultrasonic welding machines, and perform various encapsulation tasks as assigned.
Accurately record process documentation.
Must be able to thoroughly interpret, read, and follow all work instructions, assembly drawings, and other manufacturing/test documentation.
Required Skills:
Basic measurement skills using a variety of hand tools and electronic equipment such as rulers, scales, micrometers, calipers, and similar items.
Must possess the aptitude to do electronic assembly. Perform a variety of duties, routine and repetitive.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while performing manufacturing duties.
Excellent hand and eye coordination.
Excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
Must be able to read and review ALL Work Instructions and interpret instructions for Manufacturing.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Preferred IPC 610, IPC 620, and J-STD certification
Previous manufacturing experience in electro-mechanical assemblies is desired but not required.
