Job Title: 2nd Shift – Metal Finisher
Location: Huntington Beach, Ca
Schedule: Mon-Fri; 2:15pm – 11:00pm
Pay: $19.50/hr
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Metal Finisher to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring our metal products meet high-quality craftsmanship standards through various metal finishing processes.
Essential Duties:
- Sandblasting metal parts using high-pressure air equipment.
- Operating polishing lathe machines to correct defects and smooth surfaces.
- Applying metal plating and living finishes using chemical solutions.
- Performing electro-stripping to remove chrome plating.
- Preparing parts for finishing and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Using bar code scanners and computers to track production.
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate discrepancies and solve problems.
- Adherence to safety regulations and use of protective equipment.
- Attention to detail and quality of work.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Environmental and Safety Considerations:
- Possible exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and moderate noise.
- Handling of chemical solutions and use of power tools.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Minimum of six months of related experience.
