Immediate opportunity for an experienced Buyerjoin a growing manufacturing company located in Grand Prairie, Texas!
This is a full time, permanent position with excellent benefits!
Summary:
In this important role, you will coordinate the procurement of all raw materials, factory supplies, and goods/services as requested.
Responsible for placing purchase orders for new and existing production materials, negotiating supply contracts, and generally aware of underlying cost indicators.

Responsible for placing purchase orders for new and existing production materials, negotiating supply contracts, and generally aware of underlying cost indicators.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field or high school equivalent and 3 years similar experience
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems.SAP experience is a huge plus!
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detailed knowledge ofpurchasing business functions, MRP, manufacturing planning, inventory control, cycle counting, and warehousing
- Problem solving skills, analytical thinker
- 5+ years manufacturing experience. Bedding industry preferred but not required.
- Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing & inventory management principles
- Ability to analyze data to make operational decisions.
- Strong sense of urgency
