Job Description
Established manufacturing company in Walbridge, OH is growing and adding an HR Generalist to their team! Looking for someone who can wear many hats and juggle a variety of HR duties. This is a great opportunity to take your HR career to the next level and grow with a fast paced company. This is a fill time, permanent position working in the office daily.

This importantrole will be responsible for supporting the HR department and carrying out various responsibilities including but not limited to : recruiting, training, benefits, payroll, reports and creating documents.

  • Coordinate talent acquisition processes with hiring managers and assist with recruitment.
  • Complete on-boarding process of new employees from the application and related paperwork/tasks to new hire orientation.
  • Manage recruiting workflow in ATS (online assessments, employment offers, pre-employment tests, I-9 compliance).
  • Maintain system records and department tracking files ensuring updated and accurate records.
  • Administer payroll and benefits.
  • Process employee leave time and absence reports.
  • Conduct exit interviews, report personnel issues.
  • Assist in updating the company’s policies, procedures and standards.

  • Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree, preferred in Human Resources or Business Administration
    • 1-4 years experience in a HR role
    • Multi- tasking skills are crucial.
    • Strong self-motivation, a team player and a quick learner.
    • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
    • Must be passionate about working in HR.
