Growing manufacturing facility in Walbridge, OH is looking for an experienced Controls Technician to add to their team.
This is a full time, permanent position working day shift, typically starting at 7am until 5pm. Great pay and benefits.
In this important role you will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting all electrical process equipment and handleall areas of controls and instrumentation.
Will perform advanced level, complex and technical work in testing, installation, calibrating, maintenance and repair of all pneumatic, electronic, hydraulic and electrical control and monitoring systems. Responsible for training and education of plant maintenance personnel on excellent troubleshooting skills necessary to be successful in repairing and calibrating electrical control and monitoring systems.
·5+ years’ experience in instrumentation and control or 1 year of experience with an Associates Degree or higher in related field.
· Allen Bradley PLC’s and software (PLC5, SLC 5/00 – 5/05, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Rs Logix 500, Rs Logix 5000, Studio5000).
·Familiarity of Automate and Automax control systems preferred but not required.
·Allen Bradley HMI software’s (RsView32, Panel builder, etc.).
·Familiarity with Factorylink HMI software preferred but not required.
·Power Distribution Systems and Control Systems knowledge.
·Troubleshooting AC/DC drive systems, plc’s, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
·Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
·Assist in root cause analysis of line problems.
·Comply with project procedure, maintenance manual procedure, training procedure, general engineering specifications, electrical specifications and all local, state andnational codes and regulations.
·Follow and comply with all local and national electric codes as prescribed by NEC (NFPA 70)
