Job Description

Growing manufacturing plant in Vernon has immediate openings for experienced Industrial Electricians. Great company culture, compensation and benefits! Positions available on both morning and evening shifts.

This position will oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment including control panels. Involves extensive knowledge of electrical components as well as electrical safety code sand regulations. You must be professional, technical, and mechanically proficient. You will test existing equipment and determine if components of a system need to be upgraded or replaced. Also check switches, motors, regulators, and other parts of the industrial electrical system


DUTIES
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components of industrial equipment
  • Responsible for installing new or refurbished equipment for production plant. Run tests to ensure that new machinery is ready to be implemented and work out any issues before the equipment is used daily.
  • Perform quality testing and inspections
  • Troubleshoot Problems with Electrical Equipment
  • When equipment has problems, it is up to you to determine the cause of the issue. You must be knowledgeable in troubleshooting problems with various types of equipment and understand why equipment is not working properly.
  • Once a problem has been identified, use tools and replacement parts to make repairs to production and manufacturing machines.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled maintenance on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis to keep machines running properly and to avoid any down-time due to break-downs.
  • Will Maintain Repair and Maintenance Logs and Records
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experienced in installing various types of industrial equipment.
  • Strong problem solving, observation and troubleshooting skills

  • Repairing and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

  • Calibrating and maintaining circuits.
  • Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
  • Awareness of state, and local electrical codes and regulations
  • Read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents
  • Can communicate well with team but can also work independently if needed.
  • Must be able to work weekends as needed
