Growing logistics company in Santa Fe Springs is adding a University Recruiting Specialist to their Recruiting Team. This is a full time, permanent position working in the office daily in Santa Fe Springs (this is not a remote or hybrid position).
This position will manage, develop and coordinate on-campus recruiting activities in several markets that result in full-time hires and interns within the company. This important role is the liaison between the Universities and the Company and is responsible for developing and creating new relationships and growingdeveloped relationships at top universities. Will act as campus subject matter expert, and will become the “go to” within the Recruiting department for all things campus related. Main Duties:
Create and maintain relationships with university faculty, career service staff, and professors nationwide to help increase brand exposure on campus.
Identify colleges, universities and trade schools that will best meet needs for the future and evaluate existing relationships for efficiency and effectiveness
Plan and execute on-campus events with a focus on early engagement, education, and strategic branding.
Identify and implement diversity recruitment initiatives and outreach to create a robust pipeline of diverse talent at all levels of the organization.
Source and recruit University candidates using a variety of outlets, such as University job postings and social media, career center portals, etc.
Independently evaluate candidates to determine if their capabilities match the job requirements.
Create and roll out internship programs that meet the needs of the business and are attractive to college candidates; set up training for hiring managers, welcome luncheons, and social opportunities for interns and stakeholders to connect and establish rapport.
Organize and staff on-campus recruiting efforts; participate in presentations, info sessions, and career fairs on college and university campuses; interact with career development offices and students to raise awareness .
Develop and monitor key metrics and costs related to University recruiting.
3+ years proven experience in relationship building within a service industry.
Human Resources or Recruiting experience required.
