1.- Receive and unpack all incoming shipments.
2.- Check packing list with actual items received, proper labeling and quantity.
3.- Stock the shipments into the sample dept and stock them by FIFO system.
4.- Pull any expired product and under the guidance of the Sample Coordinator to create a list and package them after confirming the product qualities and properties such as if item is solid or liquid, weight, name and quantity.
5.- Assist on maintaining sample inventory including all bulk and filled materials.
6.- Assist on stocking all packaging materials such as boxes, envelopes, etc to ensure everything is well stocked so shipments can be package on a timely and effective manner.
7.- Assist in maintaining the Sample room clean and organize at all times including, picking up packaging material, sweeping atend of every shift, etc.
Education And/or experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk or to hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
