Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Legal Administrative Assistant for our client in Santa Fe Springs.

Temp to Hire Opportunity!

Responsibilities:

Supports and reports to General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer (COO).

·Preparation, editing, and redlining of various legal documents (including commercial leases, contracts, etc.) and external and internal correspondence

·Maintain organized hardcopy and electronic filing of legal documents, project files and working files, including M-files data management system.

·Assist in designing and implementing best practices for documentation flow, filing, etc.

·Insurance certificate monitoring:

oIf insurance certificate management is outsourced, functions as liaison with the outsourcing firm; coordinates requested exceptions and questions with General Counsel.

oIf insurance certificate managed in-house, assist in review and compliance management of insurance certificates (for vendors and/or tenants).

·Assist in corporate filings and compliance.

·Assist in document review efforts

·Maintain team and project meeting/conference call notes

·Follow-up on open action items or as directed with various external parties and internal team members to ensure timely milestones

·Prepare regular progress tracking reports for COO, incorporating Industrial, Non-Industrial, Acquisition, Construction, and Leasing, weekly and biweekly team reports

·Assist in preparation of presentation materials for senior management

Requirements:

·Skilled secretary with a minimum of 7 years of experience.

·Legal and/or commercial real estate experience strongly preferred, as well as preparation of commercial leases including AIR leases, legal documents, correspondence, and memos.

·Must have excellent organizational and communication skills

·Proficient in Word (min. 65wpm), including redlining, and Excel.

·The ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and handle multiple tasks is required.

·Candidate should be prepared and willing to assist with miscellaneous job duties assigned.

Pay Rate Range: $28-$31.25 per hour

Hours M-F 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
