Job Opportunity: Inventory Coordinator

Pay: $20-25/hr

Shift: 1st Shift - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for coordinating inventory control procedures? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an Inventory Coordinator at our Santa Ana bakery.

Reporting To:Bakery Director

Key Accountabilities:
As our Inventory Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods. Your responsibilities will include coordinating inventory control procedures, maintaining production plans, and analyzing market conditions to forecast material availability.


- Coordinate the implementation of inventory control procedures for packaging materials and raw materials.
- Maintain production plans, coordinating materials and equipment resources to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Process SAP process orders.
- Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine material availability.
- Alert Warehouse Supervisor and Director to inventory variances for upcoming shipments or special requirements.
- Operate reception switchboard, greet visitors, and provide routine information to the public.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and other personnel.
- Work with production to identify discrepancies in reporting and inventory data.
- Manage finished goods inventory to reduce adjustments in SAP.
- Ensure staff compliance with GMP’s, food safety, and required BRC guidelines training.
- Monitor receipt of materials.
- Meet agreed deadlines.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.


- Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls.
- Be aware of current quality levels versus target levels.
- Build quality into work and ensure processes are consistent with quality objectives.
- Take initiative and seek additional training or direction as needed.
- Set an example by actively contributing to department and company goals.
- Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality, and productivity.

Preferred Skills and Certification:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of relevant college is a plus.
Years of Experience: 2 to 3 years in planning and/or purchasing.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with different departments and all levels. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Computer/Software Skills: SAP, Excel, Outlook, ADP and E-time Systems, Microsoft Word, Power Point.
