Company Overview: Our client, a leader in connecting nonprofits companies and volunteers together and creating a greater social impact in Orange County for the last 60 years, is looking for an Accounting Admin to assist with daily activities and transactions in their Financial department.
Duration: Temp to Hire Job Duties Include but not Limited to:
Responsible for daily activities related to the accounts payable function in order to complete weekly cash disbursementsforExternal Clients which includes theNPO Accounting Clients and theCompanyGiving Funds.
Entersinvoices,pays bills and tracks cash disbursements by expense account, program and date.
Prepares daily deposits and data entry of deposits into the Intacct accounting system, QuickBooks, Greater Horizons back office system and/or Salesforce.com as required.
Responsible for the dailydepositactivities related to accounts receivable and the processing ofcredit card (donations & fees). Will be responsible for thereceipts and posting of payments fortheExternal Clients. Will assist withdepositsasassigned from the Bookkeepers.
Assists the NPO Accounting Clients with check printing and entries
Processes journal entries as necessary.
Preparation of receivable invoices as necessary
Ensure all accounts payable checks have W9s& the correct vendor name on file with the IRS
Assist with the preparationandmaintenance of the1099 records and forms
Filing of the accounting paperwork
AssistsFinanceManagerwith special projects related to finance as neededwith the Internal Clients
Otherduties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements Include:
High school diploma required.
Associate degree or equivalent education/experiencepreferred.
Twoyearsofexperiencewith processing accounts payable and receivables.
Has good general knowledge of computer operations; uses a keyboard and calculator proficiently and with a high degree of accuracy.
