Growing manufacturing facility in Rancho Dominguez is looking for an experienced Rubber Compounder to add to their team.
This is a full time, permanent position with great benefits!

Hours:

• Monday to Friday 6AM -2:30PM
• Overtime available as needed

·Read work instructions and execute production batches using various mixers and chemical reactors

·Observe and assist automatic and manual processing equipment including reactors, pumps, valves, agitators, etc.

·Develop updated work instructions for streamlining SOP’s.

·Document material lot/batch traceability on shop travelers

·Keep a clean, organized workspace by performing routine housekeeping

·Maintain an accurate chemical inventory

·Confirm Environmental and Hazardous Waste Management guidelines are being followed

·Full order management involving shipping and receiving

Qualifications:

• 2+ years’ experience Urethane Compounding
  
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must be able to read and write in English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, read Travelers and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, drawing symbols, flag notes and general notes
• Willing to work all required shift hours, overtime and weekends as needed
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Attention to detail and accuracy while working within a fast-paced production environment
  
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working overhead
