Job Description
Growing manufacturing facility located near Ontario Mills has an immediate opening for an experienced Quality Manager to add to their team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing a quality team of 8 employees to ensure quality inspection for each process is performed and results are reported.
- Prepare daily audit for quality inspection and report the defect rate by process.
- Utilize LEAN Six Sigma practices to improve plant quality processes
- Identification of the cause of quality issues and report findings.
- Initiate, Monitor and Participate in corrective action.
- Write and manage work instructions for quality inspection by process.
- Prepare and respond to customer audits
- Perform a daily inspection audit and share the results with the relevant department.
- Monitor and Classify defectsand report accordingly.
- Write and manage work instructions for incoming inspection.
- Ensure incoming inspection and Process defects are counted, managed, and reported.
- Plan the CFR test and report the results.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Responsible for staffing, training, and employee relations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree required, (engineering preferred)
- 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus
- Ability to understand Urethane and Foam or similar process.
- Ability to understand Foam & Mattress test standard (CFR 1633, ASTM D3574)
- Knowledge in ERP (SAP) helpful.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- MS Office( especially Excel to extract and analyze data).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
