Job Title: Painter/Touch Up

Location: El Monte

Pay:$18.00 to $20.00 (depending on experience)/JobClass:Temp

Summary:The following describes in general terms the purpose and scopeof the position. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Employees must meetall customer/company quality expectations and/or requirements in order toensure product integrity

Essential Functions:

• This occupation requires the application of protective prime and finish coatings and/or mat finishes to parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies made of plastic, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, using brush.
• Performs rework, final touchup, feathering, shading, and blending by the use of brush.
• May perform such work incident to work described above, such as touchup, patching, masking, puttying, sanding, priming, sealing, and surfacing.

Qualifications:

• The ability to use a paint brush and follow instructions
• To use references to obtain easily identified information, to use simple arithmetic, including decimals and fractions
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
• Good attendance and a positive attitude with a team player approach
• Pass background check and drug screen test
