Growing transportation company in Long Beach is additing to their team and looking for a talented Bilingual Recruiting Manager for Drivers.
This is a direct hire permanent position with base salary plus excellent commission and benefits!
This role is responsible for the recruiting of independent contractor drivers as well as company drivers performing port and inland destination drayage operations and act as a resource on all points in the recruitment cycle. Will communicate our driver opportunities to prospective candidates. Determine driver qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses and comparing qualifications to job requirements. Train, develop, and maintain system for driver retention, including being an advocate to address driver concerns.
- Must be bilingual in Spanish/ English,
- Strong port drayage/ trucking knowledge,
- 5+ years driver recruitment experience.
- Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Clean DMV record a must
- Valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation (mileage will be reimbursed).
