Production Tech Autoclave

Kimco has partnered with a leader in procedural surgical solutions. Our client is focused on reinstating patient mobility and the quality of life of patients. Our client is seeking a Production Tech Autoclave who will be responsible for completing manufacturing assignments as directed by the Manufacturing Manager and/or the Production Supervisor.Typical duties and tasks must be completed in compliance with the requirements of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) per current GMPs, QSR and company policies, laws and procedures.

Pay:$17.00 - $19.00

The Production Tech Autoclave I will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist and perform equipment preventive maintenance (PM) as scheduled in compliance with the Quality System. Ensure PM files are completed in timely manner and documented appropriately
  • Assist and perform unscheduled service /repairs, extraordinary maintenance and responding to equipment and facility integrity issues and send updates on the status of equipment
  • Perform daily inspection of the facility (inside and outside) and perform general facility maintenance
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and supervise contractor’s technicians in performing regular or extraordinary maintenance or services for applicable equipment (i.e., AC units, Air Handler, Condensers, Cooling tower, Lyophilizers, back-up generator, RO/DI sanitation, other).
  • Perform other job duties as assigned
  • Qualifications for the Maintenance Technician:

Experience and Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of experience in an FDA regulated manufacturing/controlled environment, preferably in a Medical Device Experience or human-tissue assembly/production.
  • Must be able to speak, write and read English with excellent understanding
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Individual must be punctual and have reliable attendance
  • Individual must be cooperative and willing to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to follow direction provided by authorized supervision
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Ability to perform repetitive task consistently and proficiently
  • Good computer skills
