Growing company headquarters located in Irvine, CA is interviewing immediately for an experienced Human Resources Generalist!This is a full time, permanentposition working in the office daily in Irvine.
Overview:
- In this important role you will be responsible for creating onboarding plans and educating newly hired employees regarding HR policies, internal procedures and regulations
- Issue, review and monitor Worker's Compensation claims and paperwork
- Evaluate employee performance and appraise their pay scale accordingly
- Initiate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations (as needed)
- Addressing employee grievances if applicable and bringing light to any issues that arise
- Monthly maintenance of Unemployment/Leave of Absence/Workers Compensation Logs/OSHA 300 Log
- Administer and track Leave of Absences, including EDD Disability
- Provide assistance to employees with general employee relations issues
- Keep current and knowledgeable on all company HR policies, procedures, compliance issues, forms and documentation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
- 4+years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of HR state and federal laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills,
- Professionalism, strong work ethics, and cultural awareness
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed
- Proven experience working in an HR department
- Natural interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset
