ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.
Purchases material and establishes sequential delivery dates according to job order priorities.
Checks computed amount of material required to complete job orders and is responsible for economic order quantities.
Compiles, reviews and maintains manual or computerized records such as material inventory and status and location of materials.
Prepares and submits various reports to materials manager using Global Shop and spreadsheets and e-mails them to Materials Manager
Abides by all company policies and procedures as stated in the Employee Hand Book, policy manuals, work instructions, bulletins and dated memos.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3-5 years related experience working in the field.
