Job Description
CNC Lathe Machinist
Location: Fullerton, CA
Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, plus OT
Pay: Up to $28.00 to $30.00 an hour DOE
EssentialFunctions:
- Set up, program and operate 2 axis, sub-spindle and y-axis lathe machines
- Knows threads for both tapping and chasing of internal and external classes
- Perform first article inspections and use measuring devices to quality/ensure specifications are accurate
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience working with CNC Lathes and machinery
- Experience working with Mori Seiki, Haas or Mazak machines
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Familiar with measurement tools and performing quality checks
- Programming experience -Surfcam or Mastercam considered a plus!
- Must have own tools - micrometers, indicators, calipers and other standard tools
- Able to complete pre-employment drug screen
